Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Cherries Decoration, Stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG," circa 1880, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, the front decorated with brushed cobalt vines bearing three cherries. Very nice condition with a base chip, tiny base nick, some light staining, and a small in-the-firing below left side of decoration.
