Three Pieces of Ohio Stoneware, mid 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jar, stamped "I.M. MEAD & Co"; a two-gallon ovoid jar, stamped "E.H. MERRILL"; and a two-gallon churn or cylindrical jar, stamped "C.J. MERRILL". All with cobalt highlights to maker's marks and handle terminals. Mead jar in excellent condition. Merrill jar with staining, chips on interior of rim, a thin crack from rim, a hairline to shoulder area, and a large circular in-the-firing flaw to reverse. Merrill churn with wear to one handle and rim chips.
