Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Washington, PA Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, freehand-decorated with stripes, vining, and a script "2" with dashes at base, the midsection with stenciled Washinton, PA merchant's advertising. Blurriness to stenciling. Otherwise excellent condition.
