Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Large Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "P. HERRMANN," Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a large two-stemmed clover plant design. Small L-shaped hairline in rim. 2 1/4" heavily-chipped section to rim with two pieces reglued. Several hairlines at base, continuing onto underside.
