Two Baltimore, MD Stoneware Milkpans, second half 19th century, a one-gallon milkpan with cobalt clover decoration, stamped "P. HERRMANN," paired with a one-gallon cake crock with cobalt swag decoration. Milkpan with top-to-bottom crack from rim on reverse, a glazed-over rim chip, an in-the-firing line top of opposite handle and short line in same handle, small chips to spout, and a small chip to interior of rim. Cake crock with crazing throughout much of surface, hairlines from rim, a glazed-over rim chip, and several other small post-firing rim chips.
