Four-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "M. WOODRUFF / CORTLAND," New York State origin, circa 1867-1869, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and thick, semi-squared spout, decorated with two brushed cobalt tulips extending from a leafy stem, including spotted highlights to one blossom. 2" chip to bottom edge on underside. Some bubbling to cobalt on right blossom. Otherwise excellent condition.
