One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, Stamped "L.D. FUNKHOUSER / STRASBURG / VA," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and thick, squared rim, the shoulder decorated with several groups of brushed cobalt swags. Excellent condition with a tiny base nick, a tiny semi-circular surface line at base, and a few minor rim chips.
