Scarce One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Swag Decoration, Stamped "MILLER & WOODARD / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1885, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with a series of inverted cobalt swags around the shoulder. Section of shallow chipping to top edge of rim. Otherwise excellent condition.
