Two-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "P. HISER & SONS / Washington, D.C.," late 19th century, semi-ovoid jug with footed base, tooled shoulder, and squared spout, with P. Hiser & Sons maker's mark on shoulder. Chip to spout. Two horizontal cracks in base of handle. 5" horizontal, Y-shaped hairline extending across top of jug under upper handle terminal. Some firing flaws to surface.
