Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, American and Canadian, second half 19th century, a three-gallon crock with slip-trailed cobalt bird decoration, attributed to Flack & Van Arsdale, Cornwall, Ontario, Canada; paired with a two-gallon jug with slip-trailed New York advertising. Bird crock with significant restoration, including some touch-up to bird, as well as unrestored cracks and a flake to left side. Jug with oversalting and blurriness to advertising, a shallow base chip, and two short surface lines at base.
