Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "W. HART / OGDENSBURGH," New York State origin, circa 1860, ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a folky slip-trailed flowering plant design including two large tulips with dashed accents and spotted embellishments resembling daisies. Provenance: Denlinger Auctions, Geore & Helen VanKennen Collection, April 13, 1985. Some fry to cobalt. Minor base chip.
