One-and-a-Half-Gallon Lidded Stoneware Crock with Floral Decoration, New York State origin, circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design with circular blossom. Includes a salt-glazed stoneware lid with Albany-slip-glazed recessed top, probably NJ and not original to the crock. Some fry to decoration. Two small chips to exterior of rim. Additional small chips to interior of rim. Lid with three large reglued pieces and a few chips.
