Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "HAXSTUN, OTTMAN & CO. / FORT EDWARD N.Y.," circa 1870, cylindrical jug with sloped shoulder and semi-squared spout, the front decorated with a large slip-trailed design of a bird perched on a stylized branch. Fry to cobalt. Small chip on interior of spout.
