Small-Sized Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection, tall collar, and inward-flaring rim, the front decorated with a brushed cobalt floral design of a tulip and large leaf extending from a central stem. Pitcher measures roughly one-half-gallon to three-quarts. Large flake off interior of spout and two small chips on interior of rim.
