Stoneware Canning Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES/ GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and thick "wax sealer" rim, decorated with freehand stripes above and below bold-faced Hamilton & Jones stenciling. Slightly-sunken spot at base on front. Chips to inner wax sealer rim. Minor nick to shoulder molding.
