Three-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to A.E. Smith & Sons, Norwalk, CT, circa 1860, ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, finely molded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with an elaborate brushed cobalt flowering plant design. Good form and color. 1 1/4" stone ping to right of decoration. Wear to interior of rim wear a lid would rest.
