One-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt and Albany Slip Decoration, New York State origin, circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a stylized slip-trailed floral design on the front and tannish abstract leaf design in Albany slip on the reverse. Light exfoliation near base on reverse. Fry to cobalt. Rim chips.
