Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, early 19th century, ovoid jug with rounded foot, tooled shoulder, and semi-squared spout, the surface covered in a lead-based glaze with excellent color, including light green, orange, and olive hues. Large, heavily-flaked and poorly-colored area to base. Some other glaze flakes, including a glaze flake to spout. H 8".
