One-Gallon Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, decorated with circular Hamilton & Jones stenciling surrounded by stenciled flourishes. Freehand stripes below rim and at base. 7" crack to right of stenciling, spreading onto underside. 1 3/4" thin crack at base, continuing 2" onto underside.
