One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Stenciled Shield Decoration, Stenciled "HAMILTON & JONES / GREENSBORO, PA," circa 1875, cylindrical jar with rounded and tooled shoulder and flattened rim, decorated with a large stenciled shield surrounding Hamilton & Jones maker's stenciling. Two stenciled stars above shield and stenciled flourishes at base of shield. Excellent condition with some minor nicks to shoulder molding.
