Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "R.T. WILLIAMS / MANUFACTURER / NEW GENEVA / PA," circa 1880, semi-ovoid jar with flattened rim, decorated with freehand stripes, small flourishes, and a freehand 2, above and below R.T. Williams maker's stenciling. Large inverted T-shaped crack on side of jar. 3 1/2" crack from rim on side of jar. 3 1/2" hairline from rim on reverse.
