Rare Large-Sized Redware Vase, Stamped "SPEESE & SON / GETTYSBURG, PA," late 19th century, tall, ovoid-bodied vase with tooled shoulder and narrow, cylindrical collar. Surface with traces of old painted decoration. Underside impressed with Speese & Son maker's mark. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, recently found in Southcentral PA. Wear to paint. Some small rim chips and a few minor chips at edge of underside. H 14".
