Two-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, PA origin, circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed cobalt design of two daisies extending from a leafy stem. Brushed cobalt "2" on reverse. Crack from rim on reverse. Small stone ping to shoulder on reverse. A minor chip to interior of rim on reverse.
