Two Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to William Capron, Albany, NY, 1800-1805, ovoid jar with tooled foot, heavily-tooled collar, and large applied lug handles, decorated on one side with an abstract tulip blossom, and on the reverse with half-moon-shaped brushwork. Heavy chipping to base. Two-inch long chip to exterior of rim above one handle, probably in-the-firing.
