Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Tulip Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with squared rim and applied tab handles, decorated on the front and back with two large cobalt tulips. Two long, narrow chips to rim, probably in-the-firing flaws. Large chip to end of one handle. A few in-the-firing contact marks.
