Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with brushed cobalt leaves. Crack from rim, extending across underside, where it forms a Y. Small rim chip.
