Scarce Quart-Sized Stoneware Jar with Philadelphia Advertising, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-squared rim, decorated with brushed cobalt swags and dashes surrounding the impressed and cobalt-highlighted advertising "MADE FOR / WANNER & KLINE / No. 228 NORTH 3R S. / PHILADELPHIA". Excellent condition. H 7".
