Half-Gallon Newark, NJ Stoneware Advertising Jug, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, small-sized shoulder jug with tooled spout, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising "Nusbaums / Wine & Liquor Dept. / 268 Springfield Ave. / Newark, N.J.". Heavy chipping to spout. Two chips to handle. Chips and wear to shoulder. 1 1/2" x 3/4" base flake.
