One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Slip-Trailed Cobalt Floral Decoration, NJ origin, mid 19th century, ovoid jar with rounded foot, tall flaring collar, and applied lug handles, decorated with an elaborate leafy vine ending in an circular blossom. Reverse inscribed in cobalt "1 G." for one gallon. Excellent color. Excellent condition with some minor rim chips.
