Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Phillipsburg, N.J. Advertising, Stamped "CASE'S PURE CIDER VINEGAR / CLOVER HILL / HUNTERDON CO. N.J.," attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, circa 1900, cylindrical jug with tooled spout and Bristol-slip-glazed surface, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt inscription, "People's Co-op, As'n, / Phillipsburg, / N.J." Cobalt highlight to Case's Pure Cider Vinegar advertising at base. Excellent condition with a minor base chip, a small U-shaped crack to spout on reverse, and some staining.
