Rare Slip-Decorated Redware Jar, Mid-Atlantic origin, 19th century, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and rounded rim, decorated with a black wavy line overlying several brownish lines and a reddish-brown ground. Thin 5" crack from rim. Wear to rim and wear to straight lines of slip decoration. H 6 3/4".
