Fine Four-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HAVANA, N.Y.," mid 19th century, semi-ovoid jar with heavily-tooled collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a stem bearing four large tulip blossoms embellished with dots and brushed stamens. Excellent form, decoration, and color. Hairlines to front. Three chips to one handle. Two shallow chips on exterior of rim. A few small chips on interior of rim. Additional chips to inner rim molding where a lid would rest. Two minor base chips.
