Exceptional Redware Plate with Large Two-Color Slip Tulip Decoration, Dryville, Berks County, PA origin, 19th century, with coggled edge, the surface decorated in bright green and brown slip with a large and elaborate tulip including wavy central trails. One of the largest and most elaborate examples of the desirable Dryville tulip motif we have seen. Rim chip and a few rim nicks. Two small glaze flakes to interior. Diameter 8".
