One-Gallon Stoneware Butter Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, PA origin, circa 1860, cylindrical crock with heavily-tooled midsection, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and back with brushed cobalt swags and hanging flowers. Essentially as-made condition with a 1 1/4" salt drip to one side, along with a tiny in-the-firing chip to shoulder molding above.
