Two-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1880, ovoid pitcher with rounded foot and tooled shoulder, decorated with brushed cobalt leaves around the midsection. Collar decorated with brushed cobalt swags. 1 1/2" base chip. Some dryness to cobalt. Otherwise excellent condition.
