Two-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Lid, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1880, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with brushed cobalt leaves on the front and back, as well as dashed brushwork under each handle. Lid decorated with cobalt swags. Excellent condition with a small chip to knob. H (including lid) 10 3/4".
