One-Gallon Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Jug, Stamped "F.H. COWDEN / HARRISBURG," PA origin, circa 1880, ovoid jug with semi-squared spout, decorated with a finely-stenciled foliate design. Tiny hole in front. Two shallow base chips and wear to base. Three small spout chips. Glaze wear to handle. Minor wear to surface on reverse.
