Three-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to the Black Family, Somerfield, PA, third quarter 19th century, semi-ovoid jar with flattened rim and ribbed lug handles, one side decorated with a large flower extending from a leafy stem along with a freehand three. Reverse decorated with three flowers connected to a central stem. Glued cracks extending down one side above one handle. Firing flaws.
