Unusual One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid, bowl-shaped jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, decorated with eight groups of cobalt swags. Excellent condition, the rim with some wear and a minor chip. H 6" ; Diameter 8 3/4".
