Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid jar with rounded foot, tall collar, and ribbed handles, decorated front and back with two brushed cobalt flowers. Base of collar and undersides of handles decorated with wavy cobalt stripes. A small stone ping on each side. Tiny rim chip. Base chip. A few small drips of old gray paint to surface.
