Philadelphia Stoneware Advertising Jar, New York State origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with tall collar and applied lug handles, featuring the impressed advertising "MOTT & SCHORER / IMPORTERS OF CHINA GLASS / & QUEENSWARE / 47 NORTH . THIRD STREET / PHILADELPHIA." Broken into pieces and reglued. Handle chip. Rim chips. H 9 1/2".
