Two-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRSBURG, PA," circa 1865, cylindrical crock with flattened rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a cobalt design of a bird perched on a rock or stylized ground. Significant restoration to much of crock, including touch-up to most of bird. H 8 3/4".
