Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Large Floral Decoration, Ohio origin, circa 1850, ovoid jug with semi-squared rim and applied handle, decorated with a boldly-brushed tulip with spotted leaves, besides the number "3" in cobalt script. Excellent color. Shallow chipping to base at edge. Chip to spout. H 15 1/2".
