One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Vibrant Cobalt Floral Decoration, Baltimore, MD origin, circa 1875, ovoid pitcher with tall collar, decorated with a heavily-brushed double-stemmed clover plant extending up the front. Spout decorated with cobalt swags and dashes. Exceptional color. Stamped "1 1/2" twice. Restored handle and spout chips. 5" hairline in collar. 7" crack from rim. H 12".
