Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "C. HART / SHERBURNE," New York State origin, circa 1870, semi-ovoid jug with thick spout, decorated with a large brushed cobalt floral design extending across the front. Provenance: Denlinger Auctions, Bennington, VT, April 6, 1986, Lot #56. Some fry to cobalt. Salt drips and contact mark on front. Stone ping on side of jug. H 13 7/8".
