Ovoid Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Stephen Sweeney, Henrico County, VA, mid 19th century, ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and spout and ribbed handle, decorated with a large brushed cobalt flower with looping blossom. Jug measures approximately two to three gallons. 12" vertical hairline on reverse, continuing onto underside, and onto base of front. H 14 5/8".
