Two Brown-Glazed Stoneware Pitchers, Southern U.S. origin, late 19th century, a squat-shaped ovoid pitcher with flared rim, paired with another ovoid pitcher with flared rim, both covered in streaky brown glazes. Large chip to rim of shorter pitcher. Taller pitcher with rim chip on reverse, wear to rim, and wear to handle. H (of shorter pitcher) 9”.
