Two Brown-Glazed Stoneware Pitchers, Southern U.S. origin, late 19th or early 20th century, both of ovoid form with flared rims, one with dark brown glaze, the other with a lighter brown glaze. Shorter example with chips and heavy wear to rim, and light wear to handle. Taller pitcher with chip to right side of spout and small spout nicks. H (of shorter example) 8".
