Rare Glazed Redware Jar, Stamped "OTT," Frederick, MD, circa 1870, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and thick rim, the surface covered in a lead glaze over an attractive olive and orange ground. Underside impressed "OTT”. Provenance: From a thirty-year MD collection. Chips and wear to rim. Shallow chip to underside at edge. A flake at base, which appears to be in-the-making. H 6".
