Rare Glazed Redware Hen with Chick Bank, possibly PA origin, 19th century, the bank in the form of a hen with incised details, seated on a heavily-scored base with chick, nest, and egg. Slot in hen's back. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Exceptional form. Chipping to base. Chip to tip of hen's beak. Minor nick to tail. H 5" ; L 6 3/4".
